woah! So much persuasive writing on the deforestation page! And I would love to donate but...*sighs*...I don't have the money. ): I do totally agree with you though and I want all grown ups visiting this very page to donate aleast like $1.00! That will help raise money a bit quicker , before it's too late. and you know what's going to happen.

Hey, My name is Jack and I have to do a reasurch task about the Daintree Rainforest. I have a few questions i would like to ask you.
- Is there any statistics that back up you claim to the deforestation affecting the wildlife (eg: death rates, number of species, reproduction rates etc.)
- How might the deforestation affect future generations that will live / work at the rainforest
- How do you minimise the affects of the damage of deforestation (3 ways please)
It would be much appreciated if you reply.
Thanks,
From Jack.

Why do you show a picture of logging in the USA, and an asian rubbish dump? I live in the Daintree rain forest, there is no logging and has not been for a long time. Existing roads have been here for in excess of 30 years! You have raised scare mongering to a new level, the area most defiantly needs protecting and I personally would welcome zero tourists.

The photo captioned as Russell River Lime is not.
The fruit and leaves are the wrong shape.
Each node has two thorns.
If You send me an Email address I can send you a
photo showing leaves , fruit and thorns.
I have recently germinated 20 seedlings from 24 seeds
from the fruit in taht picture.

I live in the Daintree World Heritage area. There is no logging, no huge rubbish tips. We recycle and are all off grid. It's easy to create acweebly effusive & solicit money....just sayin'
